SMALL TREKS IN MANALI
The Base of Deo Tibba Trek : 5 Days: Grade: Moderate
The trail to the Base of Deo Tibba is one of the most rewarding treks in the Kullu Valley. Not too strenuous it involves reaching high mountain ridges affording spectacular views of the Lahaul-Spiti and neighbouring mountain peaks. Also great views of the Kullu Valley.
The Bhrighu Lake Trek : 3 Days: Grade: Moderate
Through the meadows of Gulaba below the Rohtang Pass the trail climbs up through forests and then after crossing a flower strewn field reaches the tiny holy lake of Bhrighu. This is also the venue of an annual pilgrimage for local villagers.
Hamta Pass Trek : 4 Days: Grade: Moderate
Through the meadows of Hamta valley the trail climbs up through forests. The view from the top of the pass is amazing, if we can see in one side, it is totally lush green mountains and the other side is the desert mountains of Spiti Valley. We walk over the snow and glacier, we have to cross the river also.
The Manali- Malana Village Trek: 5 Days: Grade: Easy
An unusual village awaits you on this trek over the Chanderkhani Pass above the tiny hamlet of Naggar in Kullu.
Manali - Beaskund Trek : 3 Days Grade: Easy
A beautiful short trek in the mountains around Manali. Going through lush green meadows and forested hillsides surrounded by towering mountain peaks, this trail leads to a small glaciated pond which is believed to be one of the sources of the River Beas.
